Our training sessions support schools to make the most of Teachers TV as a CPD resource. Tailored to the needs of different practitioners, they provide an interactive and informative learning environment. Better still, training is free to groups of state schools in England.
What will participants learn?
Participants will learn more about using Teachers TV as a resource for themselves, their colleagues and their pupils. Specifically, they will:
- Explore programmes tailored to their role and specialism
- Find out how to search quickly and easily for relevant content.
- Discuss the best ways to use video clips in training colleagues and in the classroom
- Learn more about the free tools and resources available on the Teachers TV website
Training sessions are available for CPD leaders, middle and senior managers, governors, teaching assistants and classroom teachers at different stages in their career. They are for primary, secondary and mixed audiences.
All sessions are led by our experienced Teachers TV Advisers and include opportunities for discussion and reflection.

How do I book?
Schools, local authorities and organisations can request a training session in their area by contacting the Teachers TV Training Team. To help keep the training free of charge* please try to involve as many schools as possible (at least eight per session). Training sessions can be delivered as part of a conference or event, training course, twilight INSET or cluster meeting. Sessions vary in length from 30 minutes to 3 hours.
*Please note that the offer of free training is only available to groups of state schools in England.
