Sacha Wins the Lottery (German)
Extra is a modern languages series in three versions: French, German and Spanish. It is aimed primarily at 14 to 16-year-olds, but will also be of interest to older students.
Extra is a sitcom covering all the main programmes of study and grammatical areas needed for success at GCSE. For those who find language learning difficult, the American protagonist, Sam, is there to assist. His attempts to get to grips with the language provide the central dynamic for the language learning content of the series.
In this German episode, Sacha buys a lottery ticket and thinks she has won when she sees the numbers on television. But unfortunately Sam has misplaced the ticket. Also written on the ticket is the phone number of a girl Nico is pursuing.
