Estelle Morris Meets - Mick Waters
In this lively interview, Mick Waters and Estelle Morris discuss the evolution of the curriculum, discussing what has changed over the years and asking what needs to change in the future.
As the former chief education officer for the city of Manchester, previously working in the Birmingham LEA and as headteacher at two schools, Mick is now thriving in his role as director of curriculum at the QCA.
Mick speaks engagingly on cross-subject learning, curriculum reform at Key Stage 3, the effect of curriculum changes on schools, and the issue of curriculum constraints on teaching.
