KS4 Business Studies for Pupils - On The Street Where We Work
Split into separate sections, this programme features three types and sizes of business, all working on the same street.
Barbers is owned and run by Nadim Akhtar as a sole trader, Monty's Fitness Club is a limited company owned by Monty Clarke and The Big Issue in the North, whose managing director is Richard Brown, is a social enterprise.
Nadim, Monty and Richard have all chosen Oldham Street in Manchester as the location for their businesses. Each describes:
- A general overview of his business
- Its aims and objectives
- Business plans
- Marketing
- Plans for the future

Yes! You can download our programmes20 September 2007 - 17:27You were certainly given the right information Kerry about being able to download Teachers TV programmes. There could be a few reasons for the problems you are experiencing - you may not have the correct version of the Windows Media Player.
Take a look at our recently updated Help pages and I'll send you an email to check that you've sorted out the problem.

Business Studies Resources in general20 September 2007 - 17:17I recently attended an NQT seminar on the Wirral and was advised that programmes from Teachers TV can be downloaded and watched. Did I mishear this because all I can download is an almost dubbed version with music dominating the sound, so that I cannot hear any talking??? I am doing something wrong? I would love to make more use of this facility. Many thanks.
