Going to School in a Bus
Gain an insight into the diversity of education in India by following Saddam as he attends school on a bus.
With his mother and three brothers Saddam lives under a plastic sheet on a busy corner in Mumbai. Saddam loves going to school and unlike many children its actually located in a bus!
Every morning his school arrives at the market place across from where he lives, once he's aboard he reads books, solves puzzles, and plays on musical instruments with his friends.
The programme, produced by former British teacher Lisa Heydlauff, reveals how important education is to children and families in India.
