Lesson Planning
Lesson planning at primary level is explored in this programme featuring seven teachers from across the UK sharing their strategies for success.
The teachers discuss their own tried and tested methods for planning lessons, including breaking lessons into sections, different strategies for engaging children in their lessons, and how to plan for different endings to lessons.
The teachers also look how to plan for progression after a lesson, what can go wrong with planning, and when to step away from your plans and improvise.
This programme is part of a series where primary teachers share their tried and tested strategies for success in the classroom, from group work to creativity and time management.

I have been using use this video in my sessions with ITT trainees and the feedback from them has been great. So thanks for making planning a real experience that can be fun if you look at it creatively!
