Primary Libraries - Revitalising Your Library
Planning a library revamp? We visit two London primaries to get help.
Mayflower Primary's library has fallen out of use and the headteacher has invited in the local schools library service to discuss what needs to be changed, and how to manage the process.
Bygrove Primary has recently been through the same process and provides an example of what can be achieved. The programme covers a range of issues, including:
- Staffing
- Stock
- Shelving
- Cataloguing
- Creating the environment
- What to think about when developing a plan for your library's future
