Handle with Care - Health and Social Care
Gain an insight into health and social care workers from across the country, seeing the way they provide support and meeting the people they care for.
Becky the midwife shows us a day in the life of the maternity ward at St. Thomas' Hospital, and takes us on her rounds to show how a home visit works.
We also follow the work of carers inside a care home and find out what makes their job so worthwhile. And finally we hear from the recipients of these different sorts of care, and why this support is so important to them.
This video part of a series about care workers and the different setting in which they work, covering everything from new-born babies and elderly care homes to first aid and tips on nutrition.
