From Good to Outstanding - Salma Ali
Sebright Primary School rates primary teacher Salma Ali as "good", as part of our challenge we bring in top inspector Clare Gillies and a team of experts to help her transform her teaching from "good" to "outstanding".
Clare observes Salma in a lesson and later gives feedback to her, She highlights Salma's need to create more speaking and listening opportunities in the classroom. Whilst remembering to keep her eye on the timings of activities such as lesson starters.
Salma then receives some one-to-one CPD from primary literacy consultant Jane Scholey . She also works on pedagogy and learns confidence-building tips from our presentation and communications expert, Mo Shapiro.
She then has just three weeks back in the classroom to put their advice into action before the inspector returns to observe a second lesson and deliver her final verdict.
Will Salma make the grade? Will she raise her game sufficiently to go from "good" to "outstanding"?

This video has helped me achieve my objective of making the educators clearly understand what to expect by the end of the sessions! Thanks to you teacher's tv.
