Rehabilitation of Child Soldiers in Sierra Leone
This programme contains images of war and should be watched in full for suitability prior to using as a classroom resource.
This documentary video, designed for KS3 students, shows the problems faced by former child soldiers in Sierra Leone as they are reintegrated into society.
In following the rehabilitation of Tambo and his friend Sasko, it looks at the life they led fighting, and how now they are back with their families, they are getting an education.
At the end questions are suggested to help create a classroom discussion about global citizenship.
