Key Stage 4 pupils of Wickersley School and Sports College explore relationships, sexual orientation and social stereotypes in this sex education lesson.

They discuss the difficulties faced by gay, lesbian and bisexual people in society today. Through a number of different exercises, the pupils are encouraged to:

  • Question the language used to describe sexual practices
  • Examine their own attitudes towards sexual relationships
  • Debate the reasons for discrimination towards gays and bisexuals
  • Think about the emotional and physical consequences of homophobic bullying
Create a record of the videos you have watched and how they have helped your professional development, to demonstrate CPD.
