In this programme, Cherie Booth QC helps two teachers translate their knowledge of human rights into lessons on fairness and balancing of rights.
An expert in human rights litigation, Booth provides legal advice both in and out of the classroom to Year 5 and 6 teachers Craig and Elaine.
The pair, from St Albans Primary School in central London, grapple with the core concepts as they expand their legal literacy and knowledge of rights and legal processes.

I'd like to be able to understand where the rights of one person can overrule the rights of another. We can try to arbitrate betwen the two points to reach a fair solution, but that might not satisfy either person. The solution might be fair, but it achieves nothing.
