Part of the series STEM Career Role Models

Spacecraft engineer and STEM role model, Faye Cashman, shows her million pound Mars rover robot, Bridget, to Year 9 students at Cowplain School, near Portsmouth.

Faye sets the students a challenge to see if they have what it takes to be spacecraft engineers. To land a Mars rover safely on another planet, they?ll have to build a suitable landing craft. But in their case, their precious payload is an egg.

The video also features a profile of Faye in which she gives a guided tour of her workplace, providing an insight into what it is like to work in the space industry.
