Summary
Some of the potential dangers lurking in our food are examined in this short science video for use in KS2 and KS3 lessons.
The dangers of allergies to peanuts, the harmfulness of salmonella bacteria and the poison in some seemingly harmless foods, such as apple seeds, are explored.
The perils of the puffer fish is also highlighted, with one fish containing enough poison to kill 30 adults.
