Leadership Toolkit - Local Business Fundraising
Expert fundraisers work with Ranelagh Primary School in London to help staff improve their already impressive fundraising work targeting local businesses.
David Poppitt and other experts reveal tricks of their trade and share their tips for making money go further. The key message is to develop a symbiotic relationship whereby both school and business profit from the relationship. The school already has such a relationship with their eco printer provider, and also supplements its income through lateral thinking.
School managers, bursars, professional fundraisers, parents and businesses, all give their thoughts on fundraising.
The experts teach a PTA parent how to write and address a begging letter and we learn how important it is to create a positive school image to encourage donations.
