Arifa Naeem from Family Action in Slough, works on a project for local Muslim parents, while Angela Goodwin, a parenting coordinator in Sutton, talks about her work using the Incredible Years Programme.
Efforts to build links between schools and their local community are shown through the work of Ghazala Navaid, the parent support adviser at Woodlands Junior School in Redbridge.
Finally, Stavey Primus, a secondary school parent support adviser, shows what supporting parents means in practice.
